Probably been asked before (but cant find the answer via a search).
My Bay has 185x14 tyres on it and original steel wheels, i presume this is a commercial / old size but the side walls are shot (because of the time it has been standing).
What are todays equilivilant size? Would standard car tyres be ok or would i need commercially rated tyres?
Would someone like kwikfit sell them? (A neighbour is the manager of my local centre so big discount time hopefully)

Those tyres are still available, so you can get a like for like swap.

alot of people advise commy tires, but you'll find 99% of owners run ordinary car tyres.

What size though?
185/60's 185/70's?
Trying to work put prices but until i know the equilivilant car tyre size i'm guessing

Where no aspect ratio is stated, I think you are looking at an equivalent of a 185/80 (or ***/82 if you want to be really picky but you obviously won't find a tyre with this on the side). Hope this helps.

WHS^^^ I've got 185 R14 Firestone commercial rated tyres which I got cheap, about £38 each. It's a standard high profile which is the original size from the factory, like dp says it's about 80 or 82.Just ask for 185 R14 tyres and shop around you could save a few quid.
