Tyres

I have a 1972 crossover almost ready for mot as just over from USA
Need to replace rear tyres as cracked
I think van would have been 17 /. 18. / or a 2ltr back in the USA
I got her with no engine
Anyway the rear tyres on at the moment are 205 /60/14
Are they to small ?? As I have now put in a 1600 engine
What would have been standard size ?
