USA to uk 1972 bay lights

Please tell me
My job this weekend will be to re wire lights from USA
To uk speck
So rear lights should be turned to brake light and side light
Flasher on its own
Have got two new light units to do this
Front lights
When I pull light switch 1.
side and head lights come on together

Can I move wires on that switch so
1 is side lights and still flasher
2 is side and low beam
Then pull signal arm for main beam

If you can give me any tips
Would be very helpful
