Van with SA Sprintstars

Has anyone got South African sprintstars on their van? I quite fancy a set (if I can get hold of them) and would like to see a pic of them on a Van...ta!

Really like the look of these, but am I right in thinking they only are available in 14'' ?
Hope I am wrong but then again I do have the Mangels 356 lookalikes to go on. It can all change.....

Just mean in looks,obviously the originals are the ones to have, i mean can you get exact
replicas if the originals are like rockinghorse......?

my favourite of the 'traditional' wide 5 rims... i think they look ace on early buses 8)

they're normally about 250 - 300 a set... bargain if you ask me... hasn't one of the 'big' companies got loads ? is it vw relics ?

personally i find the spokes on the SA sprints too narrow and don't like the taper

and THATS the difference with the repro ones you see, they are repro's of empi sprints, not south african ones

I think they're all 15', and don't think they repro them...

mine are 15's 4.5j but hoping to swap the rears for 5j with someone.165x 45x15 fronts....205x70,15's rear.

Repos are of Empi Sprints....origional are hard to get and expect to pay a grand up for

these rims are old.Please dont go to a tyre shop and have new rubbers put on them..You will probably wake up to atleast one flat tyre..it may even take a week or so to go down.Get the tyre co or yourself to clean the inner lips untill they are spotless.I learnt the hard way and have wrecked an 80quid tyre!

these wheels are normally 15"x4.5j or avaliable in 14" as 4.5j and 5.5j. The 15"x5.5j are rocking horse doodoo. I have one but am sruggling to get a partner...they are super cool though in my opinion and because they are specifically designed for vw `s the offset is sorted and the fronts often look like the beam has been narrowed slightly

what these? .Allways check that 'Banded' wheels have been done right..theres lots of bad sets out there

i think sa's rock! although i would be partial to a set of og empi sprints but that aint gonna happen..... so i like rolling with somat a bit different!
mine are 15x 4.5s.... and fit a treat......
have seen 14s too though and dont look much different..

they also look better with og chrome caps rather than the spun alley ones done by java.....

dude - awesome bus. I've just bought some of these wheels and wondered where you got the centre caps from?
