Hi, i know it is not earlybay related, but look out for a virus on your p.c's. It tells you your harddrive is full of viruses, loads of red windows asking if you want to block programmes, when you do it says to remove them you need to subscribe,( prices in dollers) asking for credit card details DO NOT ENTER ANY, EXIT , TURN OFF and see a specialist. If you carry on using the net it will block all access and bring the window for subscription window up. I was lucky, it did not cause to many problems BUT if you enter card details it takes your hard earned money, THIEVING SCUM. :x

Yeah i had this, it runs a pretend scam telling you you have various virus's. Tried closing the window but nothing would work, turned computer off and ran my own virus scan. Never had any problems since so touch wood, everythings ok

antivirus 09,just had it.

very clever it cloned google and mircosoft also shut down computer when i tried to download a cure.only spybot could find it,then deleted it in the registry.

that one is a bugger indeed. had to clean a few pc's up with that.
found this to be the best and easiest so far:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/uninstall-antivirus-2009
scroll down and read all instructions
download the malwarebytes program - don't need to pay for it (unless you want to make a donation!)
hope this helps
maybe we should have an IT section?
