VW T2 1969 Respray cost

Could someone please give me an indication of the cost of respraying a T2 1969 Devon Camper. I am in the final throws of negotiation and hopefully will collect next weekend. The body work looks fine with some bubbling but is in need of some minor repair and a respray.

Question... am I looking at £1k or £3k (or more?!) for an exterior respray, i.e. don't strip ou the interior for an internal spray.

A grand 'may' buy you a once over with some wet and dry and blow over..

For a half decent spray in a shop with an oven I think it would be nearer 3k.

2-3k for a decent job, depend who and where

was quoted up to 8k for my old bus :shock:

Have to agree, I got mine at 1.5 but it prooved a right pain as he'd under qouted...2-3K will get you a decent guy who knows what hes doing with a T2 and a good finish...

But if you remove all the glass and doors, handles etc yourself and re-instate them your self it could save you a small fortune....
