At the moment I am looking for an old fasion Microbus from VW to buy and ship to Norway. I am not very familiar with VW (Or any cars at all), but I feel like the VW microbusses are nice cars to use when going on weekendtrips with the guys ect.. :)

I have looked into:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111165943817?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151118366854?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but I'm hoping to find some a bit cheaper. (If its possible..)

I also think its hard to find a VW without all the camping stuff inside.. All I want is one seats that are allowed to use! Not a sink or anything like that. I am also looking for one with a ski/surfboard craddle on the roof. (I guess this could be installed later)

What modell do you guys think is the right for me?

Thanks :)

go on the samba web site theres 100s of micro busses plus they ars mostly lhd

Hi there,, realy sorry to give you bad news straight away, but that is what a good example will cost you nowdays. If you are not very experienced with cars, you should take someone with you who is a lot more experienced with old VWs or you will almost definitely end up with something that has been restored but possibly / probably not to as good a standard as those two fine examples you have shown us. A restored bus will mostly not stay good as long as a genuine rust free bus, but a restored or refreshed rust free bus is what would suit you, but that`s what a decent one will cost you.It does sound like a microbus is the type of van or bus for you and a roof rack or cradle can certainly be added at a later date for your surf board and stuff. :mrgreen:

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,, Plus Early bays are realy 8) 8) 8)

Edit:

I found this one: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1529638" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and it is exactly what I was looking for..! What pricerange do you think this is in? Anything I should be aware off? :)

There are some great clubs and people in Norway that will help point you in the right direction.

You will be better off buying on in Norway as it will be cheaper and in good condition due to the fact the roads were not salted.
