Hi guys my name is Dave Young i am part of the Moor Music Festival team, me and one of the organizers are both proud owners of early Bay Window campers, a 1968 Panel Van and a 1970 Dormobile http://www.myspace.com/monkeybizmusic
We are currently developing the festival to incorporate our love of VW's and the people who drive them, so this year we are planning to hold a Show and Shine Competition at the festival and add a campervan field with vw related things and people.
We are looking for entrants who would be willing to bring their VW's to show, we can offer FREE weekend festival tickets and a secure area to camp etc to entrants into the show and shine, we have 20 places up for grabs and we have already had some wonderful entries, to help make this quality show....
we are current confirming independent vw traders, if you are an independent vw trader and would like to get involved, please get in touch....
we would love to hear from any early bay owners especially as i own a 1970 dormobile.
About The Festival
The Festival is in its 4th year and is growing rapidly, the location is Ilkley Moor West Yorkshire.. The date is 7th 8th 9th August
We have just had a feature in the Guardian newspaper as one of the top 20 small U.K festivals (2500 people) the line up for this year is awesome including The Utah Saints, Long Blondes and Forward Russia plus many more top acts.. The festival is child friendly and we welcome families.
