Posted for a friend, we are after a 1600 turnkey engine, must be a runner.

Thanks

whats the time frame? i have a 1600SP that is being rebuilt as the rear bearing was noisey. It is complete with heat exchangers, no exhasut but oil bath air cleaner and electronic ignition.

it started life as a 1300cc beatle case and has been rebuilt as a 1600

Thanks Married Blond, no real time scale, though they are looking for something they can just 'bolt in' not sure if they would want a 1300 rebuilt to 1600 though.

Thanks, but a bog standard cheapy will do.

Prices vary so I'd guess his budget is 400 - 700.
