Wanted - Beetle (sorry!) Radio or blanking plate for dash..

Hi all,

Sorry for a wanted post on bug bits, but I'm hoping to get this sorted next week, and I need the blanking plate to be able to weld up the dashboard hole which has been enlarged...

I'm after one of these for a pre '67 bug.

Alternatively, any radio that will fill the hole and continue the chrome strip that runs across the dashboard, something like this...

it MUST continue the chrome... that's why I want one. I don't care if it works.

Anyone got anything at all?

Rich Oakley is the radio man, im sure he has lots of bits and pieces?.

I was lucky and got a really good chrome deluxe face plate for an even nicer munich radio dug out of a friends dads garage. I have the blanking plate i would sell but i want to keep it just incase sorry .

I'm wondering which I reckon looks better, with a radio or a blanking plate...

My bug will be sea blue like yours is.
