I'm looking for a 10 row fuse box for an Early Bay. As far as I know these were only fitted to 68 & 69 model year vans.

Cheers.

it is just early bays and real early 68s used a 9 row i beleive also this particular fuse box the lugs snap off so they float dangerously round the place  i got a n.o.s one from Spa 2 years ago for £14 quid .the vendor thought i was nuts jumping around :D

Like Gadget says these are prone to braking and quite hard to find replacements. The only bloke i know who had one is that Gusthav fella who has a stall at Vanfest/BVF/Slough. I think thats his name anyway. Good luck with the search and watch out because some trader who will go un named (because i cant remember at the moment) asked me for £50 for one..............................

It is definitely a 10 row, it's on a June '68 bus. As you suggest both my lugs have snapped off and it is floating around quite dangerously, it is the stuff of fires. You can get them new for about £55 from Status. I reckon I'll just have to fabricate a repair until I find one.

Speedwell bite the bullet man and spend the 55quid . Mine was a bargin a certain GB trader asked me for a shotblasted 1 careful owner one £35 quid . That was 3 years ago  At the end of the day its your familys and your vans safety 4 £55 quid . And theres nothing nicer than slipping all your wires on to mint terminals instead of spending hours cleaning ever peg .

And once its done you will never have to do it again

Turns out they are listed in the Status catalogue, but are currently unavailable. so on with the hunt.
