Hi everyone, I'm new to this site.

I'd like to buy an early bay. I'd like one with some nice patina, preferably an import with little or no rot up to about £8,000.

Thanks for looking,

Lee.

Graham from midland early bay. has a nice selection of vans from the states. He on the site as graham l. website is midlandearlybay.com. Karmann Konnection in southend has a selection as well. I just started looking for a camper myself.

Cheers Gavin.
I've looked on both those site, they have come nice looking bays. They're just not quite right for me.

Good luck on your search mate.

Hi,
I know of a RHD South africa westy pop top. Missing a few bits (front seat and sink unit) and the inside has been painted pink! Very little rust and it shows all it's life on the outside! Currently in italy. Engine has LPG as well so cheaper to run. About your budget to get it here and help with registering.

Photos here... http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/nn80/bacos69/VDubs/Early%20RHD%20SA%20Westy/?start=all" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Pm me if it's of any interest. Thanks, Andy.

£8k without the engine...

Ha ha! Thanks for the offer, but I don't want to destroy a nice bus.

Hi Lee,

I am thinking about maybe selling my Bus.......I say thinking, I only just had the thought yesterday!
Have a look and see what you think, she's a '71 9 seater Deluxe with more patina than you could shake a stick at!
Wagens West dropped spindles,
adjusters welded onto the refurbished front beam and
Horse shoes on the rear.
Running the original 1600 tp motor with twin Dellorto 40's and a standard exhaust.
Currently Mot'd but due a new one next month. I've had her a year and done around 4,000 miles in her so far. Showing just over 93,000 on the clock. She was originally from South Carolina (layed up for 18 years) and I imported the old gal myself.
Looking for offers in the 7.5k mark.

Hi Chris,

I love this bus and was hoping it might come up for sale!

I see you posted a reply to my add at gone 2 on a saturday morning, so possibly drunk and may regret it today!
Anyway let me know a good time to call, if you're still up for selling and I'll give you a ring.

Cheers,

Lee.

 Lee I wasn't drunk, I work shifts and was having my tea and decided to have a browse.
I love this Bus too, but I can't do it justice at the mo. Got my eye on a '70 Westy as the boys keep buggin me about getting a Camper! :D
Call me anytime mate.
