wanted - petrol flap spring

hi all

when my camper came back from the paintshop, the spring that secures the fuel flap into place was missing - i have it currently held with blu-tack

any ideas where i can get a new one??

how strange is that, when my bus came back from full respray it too was missing the spring that keeps fuel cap closed, 2 years later i still havent got it sorted, it only opens now & then round sharp corners baj

Pulled my filler flap off tonight just out of interest to see the spring in question.
When my new camera arrives(sometime this week) I'll take a piccy of it so you guys can see what you're after.
Whilst looking for a radio blanking plate for my mates split I checked all the US sites for the above and they don't seem to stock them there either.

So just cos' I love a challenge I'll try and get hold some spring steel and gash some up. (If you can't find any of course)

if i get the time tomorrow i will go to the local pick n pull and get the springs off the 5 or 6 bays that are out there. i will send them to one of you 3 that need them but then you will need to send 1 off to each of the other 2 people that need them as postage will be cheaper for you than if i was to send all 3 of them seperately. so one of you pm me your mailing address and i will send them tomorrow or tuesday if they are still there.

sorry bud they have thanxs,forgot all about them tho ,thought id sent you a pm to say thanxs but probably forgot to do that aswell ,i still need to get round to posting the other 2 out ,works a treat now,thanxs again,il try and sort out some stickers for you,if there is any thing i can do for you let me know
