WANTED: Relays

Really need:-
1. New headlight relay (i've got non full beam)
2. New Indicator relay (no indicators or hazards)
3. Any other relay fitted to a 1970 / 71 Bay

Trying to get the electrics sorted as i cant really do any bodywork in this weather (working outside)

Anyone got any OR can point me in the right direction to buy some

I think 70 and 71 have different relays.
I think you should have the small square relays, if so your laughing, machine7 do them.
If not, you have to adapt the wiring.
I stuck mine in temporarily like this to test it all works, then took the wires off the back of the fuse board and linked them directly to the relays.

which part number do you have on your fuse box if it has an A at the end you need the relays like the prof is showing,

if it has a B at the end then you need a latching relay which i have a brand new one and indicator should be able to source one too

The Van is an August '70 so think this makes it a 71 Model
Out of curiousity what are the 2 relays? Presume 1 is Headlights but what is the other? Hot start relay? And where is the Indicator / flasher relay located?

A hot start relay is fitted across the starter motor/in the engine bay as an aftermarket option to reduce the currently loss from battery to solenoid by bypassing all the cabling and connectors through the bus and ignition switch.

Yeah they'll be like the ones with the wires on in the photo rather than the ones in my hand, so you'll be able to get them from machine7.
