Don't quote me but early bay bumpers were the same as splits from 65'ish. You can pick them up easy via well known web sites but finding a genuine straight one are becoming quite hard to find.

Repro ones are also availaseveral suppliers.ble from

Unless it's a crossover - 1972.

There is a one year only bumper which is difficult to find.

I may be wrong (I usually am  ) but as far as I'm aware late split and early bay bumpers are different. Split bumpers are designed so the brackets mount inside the bumpers, so don't have bolt holes through the bumper as a bay does. apart from that though I think they're the same in terms of dimensions, shape etc.

With regard to how difficult they are to find, they're not that bad. It really does depend on how straight you want the bumper to be, and how much work you want to put in. If you get desperate I've got a spare bumper in the garage. :)

they are different in looks aswel the split bumpers are slanted at the ends and the early bay bumpers go to a point ive fitted a split bumper to my bay with no probs heres a pic

this is early bay look at the ends
