Me and the family have just come back from a great holiday in Cornwall, we were staying at the campsite linked below:

Now i don't usually go for sites with games rooms and onsite entertainment, but after last years washout we opted to go somewhere were the kids could play indoors if we were treated with liquid sunshine again.

We did have a bit of rain so did end up in the bar and games room from time to time and had a thouroughly enjoyable time.

The pitches are a decent size and are all flat, toilets and showers were always clean and loads of hot water. The onsite cafe served up nice food at a decent price. Plus there's a free minibus to the beach and back, so no need to use the van each day saving on juice and parking fees etc,.

But best of all you're only 2 minutes away from Watergate Bay, miles and miles of golden sand and great surf. Even on the busiest days there was always plenty of space on the beach, as it stretches all the way to Newquay at low tide.

Whenever we return to Cornwall in the future we'll be staying here for sure.

This is a quality camp site, couple of miles from newquay central and just down the road from that great beach. We go there every august for a week and any other time we can get away?afford it. Oh and it's dog friendly.....which is always important

We had a good easter weekend there, bus stop at end of drive so easy access to Newquay, cheap to stay, not the usual rip off prices.

Facilities good, not sure how nice it would be when totally full during school holidays though.

funnily enough we are off there at the end of May for my 40th. Cant wait as it is a great site and much cheaper than Porth Beach.
