Hi everyone!

Firstly, huge huge apologies!! We've been missing for a while!

Since DeeDee arrived in the Wood household she's hardly gone anywhere :( in July we had some bad news, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with terminal cancer, everything was up in the air and we didn't know how long we had left with Yvonne so everything was put on the backburner, Unfortunately Yvonne died just before Christmas (19th December) and up until now our lives have been just as hectic with making arrangements etc.

However, now is the time for us to start making our own good memories which widely involves going away for weekends etc with DeeDee :)

DeeDees winter coat will be coming off briefly today to get some much needed TLC and so we can 'bond' again lol

I went to Dubfreeze last weekend with my Dad and got plenty of inspiration and caught the bug again!

Hope to have a good chat to you all soon!

Lainey

Welcome back and you sound pretty up beat too which is good  Sort of missed your dopey avatar and your lively renditions  But it`s lightening up a bit more every day now :p

Nice to see you back

I got my username changed. Was probably Hoosier last time you were here.

Soz about your loss and welcome back (with renewed enthusiasm by the sound of it) :D

I was wondering what happened to you. Sorry for your loss, but I'm glad your back. Have you got the hang of driving your bus now? :)

Welcome back Lainey, and to good times ahead with 'Deedee'.....I'm sure its what Yvonne would have wanted :)

Thanks for the warm welcome back guys :)

First day working on the old bus today, good to see her back out but bad because of a crap fitting exhaust

Ah well! all part of the 'fun' I guess lol x

Also sorry for your loss marriedblonde

cancer is a terrible thing, me and my husband are planning on doing a lot of sponsored runs and bike rides etc for cancer research and for our local hospice who cared for Yvonne for a short time x

Welcome back!

Cancer is everywhere!!!! My mum has just recovered from a Chordomer on the bones behind her nose, she has had 12 weeks in Florida this year for specialist treatment and things are going well.

Got a good friend who was diagnosed with cervical cancer at Christmas too and she is fighting hard!

One things for sure, I am glad we have an NHS or I would be without both of them by now!
