Does anyone make these?

I was thinking about having a small batch made up if anyone was interested?

Handles are easy to come by but the brackets not so

i take it that is at the rear of the slider??
i would be interested if price alright!!

think i saw the chap from the states doing something like this to help opening and closing of slider on the inside???

Yes rear of slider so you can close the door easier and quieter!

I just spoke to my mates engineering firm and he recons a small batch could be made in solid billet alloy for around £15 (plus post) each if I can get 20 people in on it.

Sorry if I'm being daft but how does it attach to the mechanism that actually opens and releases the door ?

its just a extra handle to pull in the door its not connected to the mech :)

Stole these pics of the net, if they are anyones and they want them removed let me know

These totally explain what these handles are all about:-

From my research every sliding door whether RHD/LHD Early/Late have these M6 two bolts on the inside of the door

Once fitted when closing you door you can effortlessly close the door from the inside without having to slam it and its a lot quieter which you'll appreciate with sleeping children or on a quiet site

They were a genuine VW accessory which where introduced on late bays
