I've just got a '71 US Westy with electric hook up.Is it possible to make any use of that hook up for the UK or is it all junk here?

Tried this and gave up, you need a US cable (I've got one but there is a break in it somewhere) to plug into your point, apart from that it's just simple wiring (I got Dubberdaz to do it as I'm useless). Good Luck

just be careful on this one unless your carrying a step down transformer(and again a step up if your running uk mains appliances), insurance companies will frown on it....

it will need to be done by an electrician and certified......

tried (mainly to keep the external shroud) and gave up, just fitted a standard UK flip top panel in its place instead which looks pretty discreet anyway.

Probably it will be best to get my brother round to have a look as he's an electrician.I'm ok with car electrics, but want to be safe with the house hold variety as I don't know too much about the technicalities of it.
