for the benefit of you simple people who speak only english and have very little idea about german cheap and cheerfulness in the 21st century i would like to point out that westfalia is a gigantic mail order business in the fatherland and that this kettle was made in china fairly recently.

new price not much more than his starting bid.

You can get Westfalia Electro stuff on eBay for not much money, certainly not £175 a kettle! I don't think there is any specific VW link here, just the Westfalia name. They made lots of stuff.
