Westy roof cavity?

Hi all,

I've been wondering this for years but only just thought about asking the question,

Does anyone know how the cavity between the roof skins at the rear (under the roofrack) was finished from the factory? I just shoved a sheet of insulation in there and blocked the hole with some pipe insulation! Anyone got a better use? Keeping a bodyboard in there maybe?

I store my windbreaker, fishing rod and other bits and bobs in there, quite handy bit of space

I wouldn't block off the air circulation otherwise condensation may occur and then rust.

My thermo mats and fly screens for the westy louvre windows fit in there a treat :msn4:

I blasted a load of wax in there Matt, it might be a bit sticky
