im wanting to buy a conversion kit and im unsure which one to buy,do i go for the 55 amp or the 75amp,also why do some of the kits come with a new fuel pump?
any one bought one recently?where did you get it from?they all seem to be price the same is there a beter place to buy from?

i think thats the questions for now thanxs in advance

a lot of the 75 amp ones go wrong in a few months, dont ask me why they just do. try an get a kit with a bosch alternator
also bear in mind you may have to do a little clearencing of the alternator casing when running a single carb!

thanxs il not get a 75 then, lookely im on twin carbs so il be ok with that.thanxs for rthe advice

anouther quick one,why do you need a diferent fuel pump and push rod with the alternater aposed to the dinamo?all i was thinking was instead of buying the kit buy the alternater, belt and baking plate and save some penies,as the pump, rod and stand are about 20 miles old

Altenator ones are more angled as the alternator will foul on a dynamo fuel pump, the rods are specific to each pump.
if your pump is new it may be an alternator one.

Have a look in the Yellow pages for a local alternator specialists. I got a brand new 55amp alternator for less than £100.
