doesn't appear to be very useful, it rotates, it clicks every 90 degrees and does not seem to protrude through the bulkhead as far as I can see. (Fridge in way on other side)

Am I going to regret drilling it out to make space for a security box...?

My westy doesnt have that and I'm only guessing here but didn't dormobiles have cookers incorporated into the back of the seat so could this not be some sort of rest for when the seat is tilted forward and the cooker flipped down ?

As I say, only guessing mind you.

Good guess, but the cooker is on the other side - under passenger's seat.

I have removed it now - still have no idea what it was for.

I have one in my Dormobile and it holds the cooker's folding aluminium wind shield neatly in place whilst travelling :D

ah ! that makes sense - I never had any wind shield - and now don't have the clip to hold the wind shield I don't have either !!!

I have always wondered what this was for! I had no idea it was just a dormobile thing. I'll try my windshield in there now!

Cheers,
Dave :)
