What headlights are you running

I'm just in the process of buying all of the parts i want to fit in my shakedown period so i have all necessary brackets and holes drilled before camper is painted. i'm thinking of fitting better headlights than the stock ones for EB's. I was thinking of going for the Late bay setup, but then thought about going for a better xenon setup

what is everyone running, and if not stock, what mods did you have to do. is the late bay setup just a bracket inside the bulb area?

You can fit the golf mk1 with very little effort, theres a few on here running them SKs old bus had them too....

looks like simple work. i presume you just buy the late bay chrome ring (single screw) as supposed to the early chrome ring (with three screws)

Changed the front panel in mine so have the late bay headlight mounting tabs.
Running the clear euro look lights (at the bottom of this page http://www.vwheritage.com/ssp/Electrical%5CHeadlamps%5C?templateID=ssp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
with halfords ultra bright xenon bulbs.

Works well for me

Mine is an early (69) but it has one screw????? My old 72 had 3 screws????

Now I am confused...or is this a RHD/Import thing???? :mrgreen:

Stock for me. Bought some new reflectors (Hella) which improved things, just had trouble getting the correct beam pattern.
