The pop up roof on my 1972 dormobile could do with a bit of a clean up as it looks a bit dull, more grey than the white it should be. Is there anything you can use on this stuff that would clean it up easily and not do any damage?

I used a polishing mop on a grinder a T cut on mine, came up lovely

If you try vinegar and bicarbonate soda that may work. Sprinkle a bit of bicarb on the surface then spray the vinegar on. I don't know if it will work but it is a nice organic cleaning method. Try it on a small section first and see how you go. If your camera is handy maybe you could do a before and after pic.

mine (69 Devon) is very grubby - tried a bit of T-cut on a patch and that seems to work pretty well...tried Jif before that and didnt really get all the serious grime off ...

you could try caravan cleaner, which is designed for plastics and fibreglass. All depends whether or not your pop-top has ever been painted and if so, what with....

i had a bus once with a roof that had been painted with household gloss.....
