been out of the scene for a couple of years and i am wondering what it could be worth with a view to sell.

1968 deluxe microbus, cali import (kieft en klok) brand new 1776 twin carb engine
bodywork is good, very dry underneath, been garaged for last 3 years
Savannah beige original paintwork,
walk thru but with a bench seat.
lowered on adjusters-front, 2 splines at the rear
new shock absorbers all round
wheel arches cleaned and sprayed savannah beige
scat shifter
3 point driver n passenger seat belts
original tinted front screen
new door seals, (front doors, sliding door, tailgate)
new window scrapers
new mirrors
currently sat on steel wheels with 4 brand new uniroyal wet tyres

Engine;
1776 twin dellorto, 36's
brand new, stroke relieved, full flow aluminium crankcase
brand new cb performance balanced crank
brand new lightened flywheel
recon con rods
porsche carb linkage
brand new electric fuel pump
brand new petrol king fuel regulator
petronix electronic ignition
evternal oil filter

the engine will need timing and fine adjustments to run correctly.
pretty much everything in the engine is new i have reciepts for 4k engine alone!

also;
cylinder head temp sender and gauge
oil pressure temp and gauge
3 gauge holder for cockpit.

sale would also include;
4x still in box BRM's
bluebird customs 3/4 rock n roll bed frame (no foam)
roofrack

there will be other things i have forgot to mention!

so please could you quote me happy!! give us a clue what its worth.

here are some images of the bus when i bought it in 2006, the bus hasn't changed at all externally apart from a lowering job and new tyres

I'd give you 3k cash....not much demand for these old things nowadays...they just drink the fuel....and so slow!

It's got no number plate and a piece of wood stuck to it, so despite my best judgement, i'll up the above offer by £5.

It's true, nobody wants these old things anymore, it was just a fashion/fad and now it's passed........... :msn4:
