Afternoon chaps... I've always wondered exactly what model of Devon this is, I bought it last year and am coming to fit it ATM... It's got a bed similar to a Caravette, and a cooker/coolbox assembly like a Eurovette- But with a grille. Saucy minx.
I've also got a bit of an issue in that the top locker doesn't meet the bodywork on the nearside...

Anyway, some pics. This is from before I fitted it, in the previous owner's van. I don't have his contact details any more unfortunately.

Cheers :)

thats from a 1973 devon

I have the same in mine the piece on the top locker was like that from the factory I made a piece to fill the gap

I have changed mine a bit as I didn't want the double seat behind the bulk heads so made a buddy seat and larder unit and fitted a RnR bed

Thanks very much- so that's what mine could look like, eh! Pretty cool :) I guess I'll do the same as you and make a little filler piece.

Cheers

Will do I think :) I've got a big old sander that'll help too.

Would it be too much to ask for a photo of that missing section? looking up at the passenger's side, underneath the top locker? As it seems like the locker will only be supported on two edges at the moment (rear/driver's side), which is iffy!

Cheers

I'll get some pics up tomorrow the rear locker is fixed to the rear wardrobe on one side and there is a bracket on the other side that fits onto the bodywork if this is missing I have a spare one you can have. i'll get get some pics up of that as soon as I can

as promised some pics hope these help

the bracket that holds the rear locker up is pictured from the underneath and from inside the locker

the infill piece at the end of the locker I had a cardboard template and then used some oak faced ply the same thickness as the original

Ah, that's awesome. So the gap is there for the curtain, ace :)

If you have a bracket spare I'd love to give you a few beer tokens for it! How does it attach to the bodywork?

Cheers

Simon

Hi

Pm your address and I'll post one to you

I just lips over the body work then screw or rivet it to stop it moving

I'll send some detailed pics
