Whats under the Dormobile side unit?

What was originally on the floor under the dormobile unit in 1969 please?
Was it just the corrugated metal floor or did the carpet run underneath?

Mine just had bare floor in the cupboards and underneath the cool box. When I took my side unit out there was no sign of any carpet remnants under the frame. I'd have expected it to have been cut out rather than disturb the resting height if it had stretched underneath the frames, if you see what I mean but then again there is no accounting for the actions of other POs!

So I would deduce that it either had carpet up to the units and then some trimmed to fit inside the accessible cupboards or not inside cupboards at all.

I can confirm that Dormobile did not fit anything under the cupboard side unit.
Owners put in off cuts of carpet or foam to stop stuff rattling in there.
