When I was looking for the wheel arches, there was a splitscreen company that still had some stock left (no arches though). I believe KlassicFab don't actually have an offical European supplier. I think VWH used to be one a long time ago?

The funky green cab floor I think is KlassicFab.

Someone on here bought some, I think Ched/Chad? And it worked out to be the same money as the cuts I bought. Circa £500.

Also, Gerstan was actually at Volksworld this year with the panels but I couldn't find him. So it might be worth checking with him if he is coming over anytime soon.

There's was a rumour schofields are going to be klassicfab supplier as they posted a pic to Facebook to sell some engine bay lids, and there was a pile of green panels in the background

Bloody typical! Just when (yesterday!) I hopefully bought the last of my panels!!!

Would be great to have a supplier over here though. From what people have said on here, their gear is tops.

We used to stock Klassic Fab but they were a pain to deal with never fufilling orders when they say etc, leaving us with a shortfall and upsetting customers so we had to move away from their products. They are great quality but its getting hold of them ;)

Got a pair of heater channels for my beetle from klassicfab and they are a work of art and worth every penny. There is a supplier in Europe, Belgium I think? but it worked out more expensive with the exchange rate, so got mine from KF directly. Just search for klassicfab and their site comes up.

As Whistler said I bought a pair from Klassicfab, this Spring, and they were £500 delivered.

There were no problems with dealing with them and they were delivered 5 weeks after the order was placed. This period included the Easter Holidays.

Hope this helps.

front or rear?
Hi it's the front they have the flared lip but I've heard the early ones can fit ..?

Your best off getting a cut from another bus then or fit the early dlat lip style arches.
Thanks for the info think the flat lip will be the best option belly pans off no hidden surprises yet rear corners ok the front arches look to be the only problems for parts I hope

A '72 should flared lip arches back and front. As Autocraft don't yet make late rear arches you're stuck with klokkerholm or a cut from a rot free van(or maybe a full rear quarter from vw brazil, but that's loads of hassle). With the front, the best option is the Brazilian complete arch which is expensive but top quality. You just need to mod the area where it meets the cab floor to remove the '73> step which you don't have on a '72. JK do a converted Brazilian arch for a '72 but it costs more and you're better off doing the work yourself and saving the money I think.

Just heard from them, here are their prices in case someone would be interested to know;

Full Front Cab Floor for RHD Early Bay = 350 EURO, NOT in stock will come in 12 weeks
Lower Windscreen Repair Panel 15cm for Early Bay = 130 EURO , IN stock
Lower Rear Corner Repair Panels (Pair, R&L) for Early Bay = 100 EURO each side both sides IN stock
Complete Front Wheel Arches (Pair, R&L) for Early Bay = 275 EURO each side, NOT in stok will come in 12 weeks

Shipping will be another 39,95 EURO to the UK.

wheel arches for £231.23 each + p&p = say around £250 each isn't a bad deal on funky green wheel arches or is it??

Just a word of warning, check Import Tax/Duty. It can be hefty. Well it was from the States, don't know what rules apply within Europe.

I dont think there would be any import duties/taxes within the europe? but its a guess and i could very much be wrong.
