Has anyone any knowledge on wheel offsets?

I'm running aftermarket Empi 5's with 185/65 tyres and want to upgrade to 195/70's but with these wheels its not possible on my bus.

I'd love Erco's but they are way out of my price range at the mo.......i believe that Empi 5's are ET12.

Cheers

The new SSP EMPI 5s are ET 20.

I have 205/70s on my bay, late arch and the wheels are (effectively) ET25.

Thx - very interesting :)

Can anyone explain to me ET figures?

It's the distance in mm from the centre of the width of the wheel to the mounting face.

ET0 is centred, ET20 is 20mm 'sticky inny'.

Just bear in mind the offset relates to the wheel width, two wheels with the same offset but different widths won't sit the same.

These are all ET45, fronts are 4.5", rears 5.5".
