Hi all I've got a 1972 dorma that's slightly lowered but the problem I'm having is on the rear. I'm using standard steel 14" wheels (I think) with 185 x 14 tyres and I've lowered it on the rear using horseshoe plates but I can't get the wheels off with out letting them down and wrestling them out. Is this the norm or could I fix it using 15" wheels and the appropate tyres I've had all the tracking checked and no problems. I want to keep bus as standard as poss and the steel wheels but I would like to make live a little easier if poss. Thanks in advance

Phil

I think most people have to remove the rear shock absorber lower mounting bolt to allow the wheel to drop down enough.

As per Sam's comment - try removing the lower shock bolt and see if that allows the wheel to drop low enough to get it out. There are several things that will cause a wheel to be hard to remove; other than the shock not allowing the swing arm to drop, high offset wheels and wheel / tyre width can also make it a struggle.
