Someone(sorry cant remember who)on here suggested that coolair were about to start selling forged dropped spindles which didn't increase the track..... i think the wwest ones increase the track by 9mm..... also would i be right in thinking if they were scratch built forged ones there would be no reason why they couldn't do 3.5" ones rather than the usual 2.5", i'm on the verge of ordering some to but i'm going to hang on a bit and see what the coolair ones are like.
 
yes ant it was me that started that rumour. i went to big bang and was speaking to one of the guys on the cool air stand and he claimed they were getting them done asap and said the next few months which you know how things end up could probably be a year. cast is just a bit more reliable than welded cast in imho

i spoke to cool air some time ago re forged spindles, and also to check on the quality of the wagenwest ones they sell ( fully tested and A OK im told )

Forged are in the pipeline, but i wouldnt hold my breath, could be quite a while
 
I should be having a set of wagen west drop spindles arrive with in the next week they told me they were being posted out to day.I will be putting them up for sale as im going split beam now you know how much they are to buy ship and pay the tax so make me an offer.
