Going down newquay in August, any advice on which campsites ?.
We have 8 month old so nothing to loud !.
Cheers.

between Newquay and Padstow, Mawgan Porth, small campsite family friendly, clean nice bay close by and a couple of pubs

they usually book up early as the business is mainly return.....

You could also try Riverside, less than 5mins from newquay, farm shop up the road, shop on site, small bar, covered pool etc

Porth Beach mate .. we go there every year ..

Cleanest camp site i have been on .. families only ..

the guy who owns it is very strict but fair ... thats why its so clean and quiet!

15 minute walk over the cliffs or beach to newquay town centre ...

... i wanna go now!

Trencreek campsite is really nice and within easy walking distance of Newquay Centre.
It's family run, got a lovely bar, shop, take away and an outdoor pool etc.

Porth beach is great but a bit expensive.

Stayed there a few years ago, fantastic site with great shower block was absolute luxury compared to sites we normally go to.

WHS am booking it allready for this coming summer, top grub and a pint in the mermaid pub too :p oh and dont forget loo of the year award 8)

It has to be Tollgate Farm near Perranporth...they even have little furry animals for the kids (and adults) to look at and feed!
Its a fantastic peacefull family run site with no club house etc so no idiots.
Enjoy :D

Saddlerock Farm, Rejarrah, between Newquay and Perranporth.
Turn right halfway down the Big Dipper.
Its well out the way, quiet, has shower block/toilets and little else, BUT,
kids and dogs can roam without worry, there are very few restrictions, its cheap, pub and
resturant in walking distance, no light pollution at night and very friendly.
