The bus will be going in shortly for some bodywork and while I'm at it I thought I might put some openers in the side. So far as I'm aware the choice is 1/4 lights, Jalousie louvers and sliders?

My initial thoughts were the slider but then my friend said he wondered if any performed better with regard to sealing reliably. Good question, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

I also wondered where the best place to fit would be? The sliding door was my first choice (figuring it was close for rear passengers to operate) but maybe next to the sink behind the driver would be best for any cooking smells and some cross ventilation...?

Thoughts and recommendations would be most welcome!

Jalousie means you can have them open in the rain when stationary and they wont let water in (unless it's blowing a gale and the rain is horizontal). Mine have never leaked and seem to seal well when travelling.
