My brother (Mini Cooper bod) and I bought a second hand Bradbury ramp from e-bay last year. It laid
in a yard until a few months ago when I wired it in and he laid the base for it in a barn we are fortunate to own.
Yesterday I had the bus up to try and replace the dodgy brake-line that runs front to back. A real PITA with
all those bends in it, just happy not to be grubbing about in the dirt anymore - sadly too late to help me with teh sill patching I did last year though !

Oh how much i would like me own ramp! 8)

Ah ha! i new of a couple up for grabs a good few months ago, maybe it was one of them. A friend had one going free  but didnt have the room

Tis a Bradbury 799. Cables should be changed every 6 years or when a lift is moved, keep your eye on ALL the pullies, pins & pully bushes. ;)

 <-----green with envy.

another 'when i win lottery' I want...' is a garage with a ramp! :msn4:

nice

This one is three phase so I think that's why it was cheap (we paid about 350 I think) - the single phase motor two post models are easier to install and take up less space I think but more £££s second hand

The guys we bought it from reckoned the cables were not all that old so hopefully still have some wear in them.
we figured that since it's only going up/down once/twice week that wear won't be such a problem compared to
the commercial user. Will clean and grease the moving components soon too. Just for the record how much are the cables ? They look like they could be pricey..

Thats a very good buy, a cable change on it's own would cost more than that.
If you ever need parts for it let me know :D

Cool, will do. I take it you're in this business..

BTW 'monkeybikeonline' ? I have a Jincheng 90 DAX with a mild hooligan
exhaust and a slightly bigger carb does that count ?
