After being hasseled for some time we have finally produced a wide 5 vented disc kit. Our kit will run wide 5 as standard, but you can change part of the hub and bolt on any wheel combination required, ie if you want to run porsche wheels, just unbolt the wide 5 bit and bolt on the porsche bit so no additional spacers are required.

Hi thanks for the interest, we are trying to confirm prices at the moment, but looking at just over £700 inclusive of vat. We are looking at getting the hubs and pcd adapter cast, but these will take between 6-8 weeks, but we can machine the hubs till then, although even these will take about 2 weeks with our work load at the moment. We will be looking at rear conversions over the next months along similar lines to our late bay and t25 kits and will have to get the rear hub cast to cover the wide 5, and offer different pcd wheel adapters to match the front.

see http://www.futbus.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more info on what we have done for the late bays and T25`s.

Sure looks tasty. Cheaper than CSP ? What discs, calipers are used in these pics (just curious).

Cheers

Yep, CSP vented are around £1067 plus shipping :shock:

The CSP conversion kit with normal discs is around £907.

Futbus is in Devon if I remember right and probably goes to shows so could maby collect from him direct to save on shipping.... :?

Yes we have priced them cheaper than CSP as we dont have to worry bout the euro exchange rate.

Details of the kit now on the website http://www.futbus.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We offer lots of other brake services, parts and modifications, just ask.

Looks a nice bit of kit.

What's the difference between the kits for 14 and 15 inch rims? I run chrome 356 replicas, 4.5 x15.

You taking any to Vanfest?

Hi the main difference between the 14 and 15 is the disc size. We have to run a smaller disc to fit under a standard wheel. Robins has a set of 14 kit on his bus if you want to ask someone what there like. He is running standard 14" wheels.

Wont be trading at vanfest but will be able to come up as a day visitor, and bring some kits with me if the interest is there.

Hey Futbus :mrgreen: quick question - do these push the wheels out much more than standard? i.e if you are running late bay discs and then fit this set up is there a difference?
8) 8)

The track on the standard wide 5 is increased by 12mm on each side, but we are looking at developing another setup with a zero increase, but this will be some time off as we are also looking at the rear setup for wide 5 for the splits and bays.

How this differs from a standard late setup I have not measured a late van to see, but if memory is correct a standard changed to a late setup increases the track by 6mm each side but uses solid discs and twin pot calipers.

We can make anything bespoke if required if you want anything special, as we have done vans with 350mm vented with audi RS calipers, right down to go kart brakes.

Cheers dood, im gonna get me thinking cap on 8)

What calipers do your brackets take? I would fancy some Wilwood 4 pots if I could get hold of em at a reasonable rate.

Hi, if you want to buy calipers, then me can make them fit, just need the calipers and what size wheels your running and were do the rest.

Were away till the weekend, but give us a call after and have a chat bout what you want.

Will do.

Was just wondering what you run as I know Wilwood do some that fit Golfs so if I get your ones for now, I know what to use in the future - if funds allow.

Sorry just re read an earlier post, if your running a late bay 112 setup and want to go vented then we have a few options depending on what wheels your running but the offset is not changed if you still run 112. I would have to look into what is required if you want to run 112 uprights and run these hubs to get wide 5, not something i`ve really looked at, but will if interest there.

Response to what capilers we use. we use golf calipers so if you wanted to change from our calipers to willwood at a later stage, should not be a problem. You may have to change the caliper mount due to the offset, but easy fix.

Hi,
New to the board, and located in California. In regards to using Wilwood calipers. The caliper can be fitted with a slight modification and doesn't need a bracket. Or you can use their radial mount caliper with bracket. Match the caliper width to the rotor you plan on using, either a stock bus rotor, a vented rotor or other. Here is a link to my page with info on how to mount a Wilwood caliper and part numbers. http://there.dino.com/harold/bus.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cool. Will bell you when I've got the cash together. You keep the kits in stock or are they made to order?
