I am trying to repair/rebuild the sliding windows for the roof of my adventure wagen, I have had a replacement piece of glass cut and started to clean the aluminium frames the problem is I can't find any where that does a rubber seal that matches the old perished ones and I am getting worried they are beyond me to repair.

Does anyone know a window specialist or rubber seal geek that could help me out
(insert comedy gag about rubber here........)

Or does anyone have a good set of adventure wagen high roof windows knocking about they want to part with.

Baz

I've written this out now this stupid app thing won't let me attach the photos I will add some asap

Have you tried specialist firms like this one for instance? http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There's some other companies out there too.

try Woolies...
http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/default.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-18-window-channel.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've tried quite a few but I'm not sure I've tried either of them thanks I'll give them a shout

Hi, it might be worth giving butty a shout (p.m), I know he does seals for safari split windows that are supposed to be the dogs doo da's, he may be able to help at least with a supplier etc ?

regards............kev

finally I have managed to post up some pictures, after contacting some of the companies mentioned is becoming clear this is going to be a tricky one

the seal profile seems to be an odd one for most people I have tried
