Window seals?

Really sorry to hear about the breakin at Status, there are some ****** people out there :x

Don't want to sound mercenary but I really need some seals, I'm about 2 weeks away from painting the interior and getting the windows in, had decided on Status seals as I have been happy with them in the past. I really want to get this done asap as she is open to the elements and all the work we have done is getting rusty?

So where is the best place for 2 cab door kits, screen and tailgate seals, 1 side window and one westy window seal?

Although I bought the Status cab door kits, I used some of the Heritage smaller profile side window seals, they seem good quality and went in OK.

Have you tried Status to see if they have any left?

I havn't, thought they would probably have enough on their minds but it did say in the thread that all the seals had been stolen. Maybe I should wait a week or two?

To be honest its a case of how quick there suppliers react so I'd give em a call

I ordered some window seals on Friday night - got an email today saying order was on its way - sounds like they are doing a sterling job, with German suppliers re-stocking them overnight, so I'd give 'em a go...

I have heard good things about C n C but bought a few bits last week, only really needed the sliding door cam but decided to buy rear light seals too, to get a bit more for my postage, they only sent me one seal as the cam was out of stock so it cost me £17 quid odd? would have been happier if they had contacted me first.

I can save myself a lot of money if I go elsewhere but have no idea of the quality so I think I will support them in their time of need and wait untill they are back on their feet

In the mean time I have bodged together a cover for the old girl ......

I called Status VW today and spoke to Barclay, what a lovely fella they can get all the bits I need and are happy for me to pay a bit at a time via paypal and send it all in one order when I am ready (after the interior paint)

Thumbs up from me - I placed an order the day before the break in (I think) and thought that would be it - but no, order arrived as expected - good on 'em.
