    The way I make the awning fit with a roof rack is to cut the figure 8 into sections that fit between the clamps. This way you just thread them on the awning in the right order and provided there is enough tension they hold also very little if any rain comes in because it ends up in the gutter...

    Wanted High Back Front Seats.

    I am looking for a pair of high back front seats (Saab95 etc) that will fit my RHD early bay. Condition not too much of an issue as they will be reupholstered. Location Lincoln, willing to travel Midlands,N Norfolk, S or E Yorkshire to pick up.

    I am in Clem's gang. Big Bang is my favourite at Santa Pod. Your kids will love the racing, the fun fair etc and there's a quiet camping area for families. Enjoy the VW experience, great people, great vehicles and great fun :D

    How often do you use it

    I use mine as often as I can lots after payday but not so much the week before! I think just recently I've spent more keeping her sound than I'll ever use in fuel :lol:

    Whats your day job!

    Spent 26 years in the RAF so far, flew around in the back of a lovely old Nimrod till some ahole decided to scrap them early! Now flying with our American cousins. I've been a professional SCUBA diving instructor and a Bank Clerk.

    We have just bought and started using the Kyham Compact. No troubles so far.

    Here are a few pics of our 1970 Dormobile. We bought her last year and have had several great outings so far including Busfreeze last Nov and Big Bang. Next up will be Bus Stopover. She was restored by the previous owner but still needs a few things doing including fitting the pipework...
