The old man I bought it off told me his parents (who lived in England) had the Dormobile ordered in LHD because it was immediately being shipped to Quebec Canada (which all cars are lhd) for a 2 year road trip, and it made sence to have it on the proper side. They then could leave it in Canada...

I have a LHD 1972 dormobile in Canada. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was rare or not, i would think most would be RHD's? thanks for any info. :D

the front spare wheel and tire combo is not staying, i got it given to me and i am going to keep it on there untill i can find a 7" wide one. The wheel is an 8" rear which i am not running on the bus, but looks better for now than the old rusty steelie

here it is today, lots more stuff to do but at least its on the road running!

I went to the shop today to see progress on the van. The rear is lowered 2 splines, and had the spring plates notched. New brake's all around, new shocks, clutch and e-brake cables. New heater boxes etc. It should be ready tomorrow! i will take more pics when i get it home, stay tuned...

My van got towed into the shop as of last friday. I should get it back in a few weeks, lowered in the rear, running, stopping. cant wait!

I have 16x7's all the way around. I have 205/50/16's up front and 225/60/16's in the rear. I have not lowered the rear yet. The 10mm adaptors did not work on the rear so i used 25mm and there is perfect clearance on the inside and out with those wide ass 225 tires.

I just got the cocoa mat for the front foot area, but i need to get it cut in 2 places to fit around the e-brake and the steering column. the rear will be lowered to match with notched spring plates also. floors are solid. and the rear wheels fit perfect i didnt have to roll the fender edge.

Today i took tons of pics, installed new adaptors, front lenses. Note front camber is way out, just threw it together so i could get it towed away to the shop, it will all be sorted out soon. Enjoy!
