    The outer skins are transfereable and they usually rot either on the skins or the pip inlet to the tailpipes

    Have a look at C and J site they have a bus on roller using these bolt holes. personally i wouldnt unless you know the bus to be really sound, and if its that sound why do you need a roller anyway!

    Ive been wondering about getting one of these myself but just listened to vid and says soda blaster doesnt destroy rust but it can be converted to use other media! Havent heard from anyone over here whos used one yet though as not been available at Frosts for long

    As its an early bay its just as quick to whip engine out if you are able to, Thats if you know bumper bolts are good, when replacing a nice liberal dose of copper clip on valance and bumper bolts wont go amiss

    Stock black ones seem to be crap quality these days and really dont last very long at all. Go for the ugly redsilicone ones as these do last, alternativelylook on the samba as someone on there is producing some super strong ones, not cheap but a good investment

    early bay owners could supplement their sytem by adding a later bay blower or even an inline fan somewhere along the line. Big bore ones are oncredibly light and I think have even less finage than repro ones. Ive just fitted a supplementary heater in a friends bus, its a 300w ceramic heater...
