    anyone know how to repair a Dudley gas cooker - 1971 vintage? have gas leaking past the taps so not safe to use - are there seals in the taps which can be replaced? anyone know of a Dudley cooker repair person? have googled without finding anything cheers Rob

    thanks for the replies - I guess I shall have to ditch the upper half with the wire gauze inside, as the wire mesh seems to have decomposed into tiny hair like strands and if I cannot access the innards to clean it all out then I guess it's gash! cheers Rob

    thanks for that info - Steve at Gasure did the install - he tried tying up the flap but did not solve the problem - so removed the oil bath lower part and just ran it on the gauze filter top part with the carb vac pipes blocked - runs tolerably but cannot be a permanent solution - he suggests...

    hi - have had my bus converted to lpg now - all seems fine except the engine won't idle or start on gas unless the air filter is removed - standard oil bath type just like yours - have you had any probs with airflow in your system? my system has the gas injection via a ring manifold sat on top...

    thanks Stu - yes you seemed to have done what I thought was not poss - i.e. use the earlybay dome nut on the latebay arm - did you have to adapt them at all? if not, then looks like this is the way I shall do mine cheers for the help Rob

    thanks - yes looked at those C&C - in your pics you seem to show them with the earlybay type dome nut locking cap and not the latebay type plastic cap over a nut style - how does the dome nut fit the C&C late type arm? cheers Rob
