    Had the same problem with the R9 pipe started to crack after a couple of years. I have just fitted the Bio Fuel pipe it is nice and soft easy to fit, it is a bit more expensive but then so is your van.

    Mine is as in the photo, i have the heater under the back seat with the outlet pointing towards the windscreen it defrosts the screen fine.

    I have a gallon Diesel tank strapped in opposite the battery tray. Heater works fine on the move, have the heater ticking over when driving keeps the van toasty.

    I have a 123 dizzy with the same problem. When ticking over with a timing light on the marks the strobe jumps about and the van runs lumpy when driven. I swapped the dizzy over to a std vac dizzy with electronic points and it runs spot on. The 123 dizzy is around 4 years old. I got it from...

    Sparkywig is right about the carbs, to many small bit sticking out very easy to knock off. I also use a small jack under the gearbox, i find it easer to line it all up..

    Had the same van for 24 years done 10s of thousands of miles and only had a starter motor fail, just a quick bump start got home ok. New starter motor next day delivery fitted no problems back to normal, LOVELY :D....

    Hi Dave, i take it from the photos that its in the recesses where the roof vents fit. If it was mine i would grind off the loose gelcoat then sand it reasonably smooth and paint it with gelcoat with a wax additive, this will make it water proof.
