Just cos it has no clutch judder does not mean your flywheel oil seal has no leak ,pushrods/rocker covers/oil seal are the main culprits...

The ignition switch provides 12v to kick the starter in action ,over the years the wire loses it`s voltage so when you turn the key you get nothing ,trouble is you cannot borrow 12v from somewhere else it has the come from the ignition , the extra relay is the simplest way...

If your starter turns the engine over ok without the cap on and then slowely with the cap on then your ignition timming is out..... ;)

I`ve noticed in France it`s the women that miss home ,friends/shops/family make sure she realy wants to... I am already on a diet ,lost a stone this December... :mrgreen: Drink less ,buy less vehicles,play more... :D

For the cylinders or the engine? I believe that if you not in the outback then you will have no problems... 8) A well set up engine will last you years.... 8)

First I would make sure it is you starter... Might be timming ,try spinning the starter without the coil wire into the top of the dizzy.... Then put a jumplead straight from you battery to the bolt on your starter...and try...

or best offer...I have seen a pickup with no roof....look at this.... it`s a early bay , times every price by ten... 8)
