Just curious, why shorter for dropped spindles? The trailing arms are in the same place, nothing changes as far as shock mount/length goes..?

This part is available, its the same as beetle. The side parts are also available repro for a bus, but they're not curved to the roof profile like the original parts, so not ideal. Surprisingly, Ive just searched, and no one lists this part as type 2, so maybe I'm wrong. I may have a spare...

I have a pair of gaz adjustable coil overs for sale. They were on my 71 bus with dropped spindles. In good working condition, some of the powder coat on the ends of the springs has worn away, but all good apart from that. £80 Ono plus postage unless you want to collect from Chertsey

that seems fairly conclusive then. This is probably another thread, but how should you setup ict's then... I've just rejetted mine to his spec.. not cheap either. There seems to be so much conflicting info. I've not driven it before, so no idea if its better than stock.

Im sure you can buy the bushes/bearings and replace them..

Didnt know this is a legal requirement, my dog always travels upfront in my T5 Van. Surely no different to a car, plenty of dogs on front seats or in footwells.
