Bluesnailman, I have used the same heater since we brought the van 5 years ago! The heater is still going strong and throws out a ton of heat :-)

What do you mean the about closing off the walk through air vents, does they not take the heat off the main Heater?

OK, managed to get 2 done and then the grease gun died on me. Brought it new, but turned out to be a piece of junk. For someone who tries not to swesr much, the language coming out of my mouth trying to get this thing to pump grease out was pretty bad. Far more grease on me than in the van...

At long last, I brought my jack and axle stands and going to give this a go today. One other dumb question from someone who has never don't this before, I assume as I have 5 grease nipples, there are 5 different grease seals where the old grease exits? I am sure this is all straight forward...

That is exactly what I was thinking of doing but also putting the jacket over the top. Did you notice much difference in the amount of heat reaching the cab?

Just finished cleaning up the underneath of the van and was about to put the jacket back on the Heater Pipe and wondering if anyone had used Thermawrap on this? The plan would be to put that on first then put the jacket over the Thermawrap but I am just wondering if the Thermawrap would trap...

Yikes, I thought it was the only way to check the wheels where on safely. Maybe the breaker bar is the way to go then?

Thanks I am going to wait for Halfords to have a sale and see if their professional one becomes cheaper. Want one for removing the wheels mainly but will probably end up needing it for some other jobs...

Interedting what you mention about the axle stands. I was going for the ones that you put the pins through as I thought they would be safer. Didn't give the adjustment a thought.
