I’ve got everything back together but it’s not starting. I’ve put in a new rotar arm. I’ve put a shrink wrap sleeve over the break in the wire and reattached the broken end. I’ve got fuel and spark. I’ve not touched anything else. I’m wondering if there is more damage to the dizzy that I am...

    907 gas canisters....

I got mine from the local recycling Centre. Speak nice and they will give you one for nothing. I then took it to the local garage who exchanged it. No worries. There doesn’t seem to be a shortage down here

    Newbie

shame to get rid but it will depend how much work and how much money it would take To put it right. What did the MOT say? Mine sat in a local garage for 4 years they guy was doing it when he had a lull in his normal work. Ok by me as I could save a bit of cash and pay him off each month.

It is a very easy job. You are not moving anything vital. Just make sure the leads go back onto the new cap the same way they came off the old. Take a photo first. Why are you changing them? if there is no issue leave them. Go to JK how to videos they have one on how to do this very job. Link...
