    US carb

Just having a 1/2 inch spacer made to solve same problem. will pick up next week and report back. That said I was told (haven't checked) the spacer off an old mini manifold looks about right. Don't forget you would need longer threads on carb.

Should i paint the poptop, if so how?

Prep: rubbed with 400 wet. When hard I just burnished and polished. The bus is an everyday ride so is not pristine (far from it), but my point is the hard hat spray does stick to the plastic roof.

I am about to fit a digital voltage regulator in conjunction with my split charge diode. Question. Is the 55amp alternator with external regulator positive or negative rotor field control?

    What soundproofing

The Wickes stuff works. I did from front to back with it and then strips on sidewalls and doors to kill vibration. :D

    Mounting a split chare diode.

Anyone fitted one? Can I mount a Sterling split charge diode in the engine compartment, or as it is finned and not to exceed 40C, should it go under the van? Any feedback much appreciated.
