    Weekend courses?

Does anyone know if there are any basic maintenance weekends planned this year for the early bays? I've seen the Cambridge course for £190, but there used to be a more relaxed weekend camp mentioned in this forum before? Thanks

bell tent or maybe touraeg tent

Canvascamp are fine - Sibley 4m is a decent tent Safe with soulpad, karma, belltentuk Avoid boutique camping and glam camping I would say if in doubt go for a 5m - pack size and pitching negligible compared to the 4m, but a lot more room Also pay the extra for a sig or zig..!!! My blog...

bell tent or maybe touraeg tent

They are up and pitched in 10 minutes - simples!! I always book a tent pitch - the van is purely my 'car' Invariably they will charge less for a tent pitch as well

Keeping the old or changing to new?!

dont think i can do it either tbh :( Looks like the interior will stay for a while anyway When i had visions of getting a bus it was going to be painted and customised with all sorts (i paint my tents, so the bus had no chance) Then I got one...and it was all elegant and pristine in...

Keeping the old or changing to new?!

Hi again :) I've had her for 2 years now, so it's not a impulse question, honest! Cool box I tend to use an iceytek anyway (go google, they are good!) - 56 litre so much more room than the fridge for beer... I have got stupid amounts of camping equipment (5 bell tents in various sizes etc for...

Keeping the old or changing to new?!

I have a question My bus is kitted out, all original Devon style, flip out cooker, original features etc etc But lovely and authentic as it is...it doesnt work that brilliantly for me I would actually like a full size bed, a spanky new SMEG cooker etc running behind the front seats - Im not...

Thanks all, went with Burton Dassett 50 mile round trip, perfect for a little run to keep her going :) No water but they were happy enough Haven't been to sutton park for years but might give it a go in the summer - you used to be able to park anywhere there I think Kingsbury parking is...

Coventry...any recommendations for a quick run out?

I fancy giving Tillie a small run tomorrow Anyone have any suggestions of somewhere scenic, that I can have a picnic, preferably some sort of water (have 2 labradors, they dont consider it a walk unless they are wet) within 20-30 mile of Coventry? Would like to park the van up and have a view...

    Vango Sapera Awning (pics added)

deflating is instant - it has a larger valve you unscrew, then it just blasts the air out in seconds

    Post your drive away awnings?

Yep minutes to inflate the poles Not thousands of guy ropes, and the floor is sewn in, so nice quick pitch (i spent longer attaching the channel than anything) There are some heavy duty straps at the front and back, and there are inflatable poles to strengthen running at right angles inside...

    Vango Sapera Awning (pics added)

yeah not cheap, but figured the van was pricey enuf, so it just finishes it all off! Did have a small canvas awning but didnt work for me (double pegged mud flaps etc) - i like the space and easy pitching of the vango one The other thing i didnt like with the small awning was the only door was...
