    WANTED: RHD STEERING IDLER ARM

Perfect! Let me know when you find it. Just to confirm, this is the arm that sits on the beam? Often gets confused with the pitman arm attached to the steering box. My number is 07624 496122 / [email protected]

    Torn Westfalia poptop flyscreen

How difficult is it to replace a side window flyscreen in a westfalia poptop canvas? It looks to be sewn into the canvas, but is there an alternative to removing the canvas & sewing in a new one? I'm thinking bonded? Thanks in advance.

Fitting rear opening quarter window glass - How??

Have you got the frame located using the metal tags? There is a gap in the window surround that the 1/4 light slots in through, then needs pressure against the 1/4 from the inside before hitting home against the c pillar. If it's not located right, the rubber will stick out proud.

Thanks for the reply, I've tried baby wipes etc with no joy. Just seen something on Google about white vinegar, so I'm going to give that a shot. Cheers.

WESTFALIA HELLA INTERIOR LIGHT - SEAL CLEANING

The seal from my interior light has become badly stained over the years. Is there a way of cleaning it to remove the impregnated stains? Makes it more difficult when I don't know what it's made of, I'm presuming flexible pvc? I've tried all sorts of household cleaners, but no joy. Even better...

Delux window rubbers.how hard are they?

I did mine a few weeks ago. I'm repeating many of the comments posted earlier that it's not actually too bad. The chrome inserts pop out continually when you're putting them into the rubber & are a frustration more than anything, but you soon know what to expect. I found it easy enough to thumb...

    Under body heater tube

That link from heritage is a steel pipe & is the one I've got. Pretty substantial piece of metal. Sleeving & bonding looks like the way forward.

    Under body heater tube

You mean something like a piece of drain pipe? It gets pretty hot at the business end. Worth looking into though.

    Under body heater tube

I need to replace the steel underbody heater tube. How have people fitted this? Straight forward tack welding or have you sleeved the 2 ends & slid the pipe over for a tight fit? Thanks.

    Devon louvre windows

It depends on the size of the louvre frame you have. I had 2 windows, both different sizes. Have a look at this: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=62620&hilit=Double+louvre" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If it's the larger frame, it uses a standard side window...

    HEADLIGHT FLASHER QUESTION

Four of the terminals are in a square cluster & terminal 30 is out on its own. Easiest way to find it is to pull the relay out. Each of the terminals are numbered on the plastic base of the relay. You'll have to unscrew the fuse box (3 screws - don't drop them!) & turn it round to get access -...

    HEADLIGHT FLASHER QUESTION

https://vwheritage.mobi/productDetails.cfm?iItemID=59778" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This is the relay you need. As said, constant live feed from the fused side of the fuse box onto terminal 30 (the new spare terminal) & bobs your uncle. All other wires to the same old...
